Abstract: Esta tesis se desarrolló en la compañía minera Condestable, cuyo titular minero es Southern Peaks Mining LP. La investigación está centrada en la operación de transporte de mineral y desmonte. El proceso productivo, sujeto a análisis, considera el transporte de material en labores en interior mina, para las labores de avances y explotación, las cuales deben de cumplir y alcanzar el objetivo de la producción diaria, semanal, mensual y anual, así como mantener un rendimiento y eficiencia de los equipos de manera óptima.
El problema principal identificado, dentro de la operación, es el aumento de los costos generados por el transporte de mineral y desmonte, debido a la profundización de la mina, el cual genera mayores distancias de transporte.
La investigación compara un nuevo escenario, una flota con dos volquetes de mayor capacidad nominal y un menor precio unitario, y la situación actual, a fin de evaluar el costo de transporte de materiales en interior mina. En adición a lo mencionado, se incluye el análisis de las labores de profundización, y en efecto buscar alternativas para realizar la limpieza de desmonte de forma eficiente en las labores de profundización y desarrollo.
This thesis was developed at the Condestable mining company, whose holder is Southern Peaks Mining LP. This investigation is focused on transporting operation of ore and waste material. The production process, subject to analysis, considers the transport of material in underground mine, for the advances work as exploitation work,which must meet and achieve the objective of daily, weekly, monthly and anual production, as well as maintaining optimal equipment performance and efficiency. The main problem identified within the operation is the increase of costs generated by the transport of ore and waste material, due to the deepening of the mine, which generates greater transport distances. The research compares a new scenario, a fleet with two dump trucks of greater nominal capacity and a lower unit price, and the current situation, in order to assess the cost of transporting materials inside the mine. In addition to the aforementioned, the analysis of the work of deepening is included, and in effect to look for alternatives to perform the cleaning of waste material in the underground preparation working.
