Peru is a seismic country, because it is located on the belt of fire of the Pacific. Therefore, the different institutions have developed their own accelerographic networks in order to be prepared for an eventual seismic event and when this occurs, they can evaluate and issue a seismic risk report on the affected area. But, even so, the accelerographic networks that have been implemented in the national territory require staff working 24 hours a day, which defines this work as one of high importance. The objective of this thesis is to design an information system for an accelerographic network for the generation of seismic reports using artificial intelligence. During the development of the project, neural networks were used to determine if a signal contained a seismic event and genetic algorithms to optimize the determination of the epicenter of an earthquake. Finally, it was concluded that the obtained yield is enough to be able to generate seismic reports in an autonomous way in the shortest possible time.
