This research work aims to study the relationship between the thermal efficiency of a gas turbine and the generation load for which it develops a methodology based on the thermodynamic relationships of the Brayton cycle and physical gas turbines to be able to develop a mathematical model that allow an energy analysis of the gas turbines that operate with diésel of the Node Energy Thermal Power Plant, this energy analysis will allow to study how various thermodynamic variables are related: isentropic efficiency of the compressor, isentropic efficiency of the turbine, air flow of the compressor, compression ratio and combustion temperature which are variable variables that relate to the thermal efficiency of the gas turbine In order to perform the calculations, use the Engineering Equation Solver (EES) equation solution software, the model input data will be directly affected by the gas turbine instruments as a result of the Effective Power and Performance tests.
