The high temperatures in summer cause discomfort and discomfort to people who work in environments where air circulation is poor. The remote control of different equipment is not so usual in our environment, since the cell phone appeared, it is about controlling the different equipment such as television sets, luminaires, pumps, motors and other related devices. Here, detail the design and manufacture of an industrial Ø24 “fan controlled in local remote mode by a cell phone. Engineering calculations are performed, then designed with Solidworks software and finally each of the parts of the fan is selected as electric motor, propellers, drive shaft, driven pulley, drive pulley, belt and other accessories to then make the proper connection of these parties making the assembly with good field practices. The implementation of the control system is done using the tools of automation, networks and connectivity, for this a PLC and a router are used as main components for the management between the cell phone and the electromechanical device electric contactor to command the turning on and off of the industrial fan. The proper selection of the 2400CFM fan is accommodated to be installed in different environments with poor air flow especially in the summer season. The remote control of the fan is a good option to perform a better management of our energy and is the fundamental basis for the remote control of different electric charges.
