In the present thesis seeks the optimization of the slenderness and the angle of inclination of the micropiles to improve their seismic behavior through the use of the program of the PLAXIS 2D, will be carried out with the help of the aforementioned program various analyzes varying the slenderness and the angle of inclination of the micropiles these two will be evaluated independently, in order to be able to conclude their influence on their behavior in an earthquake and give the necessary recommendations. The thesis presents a review of the theoretical foundations of the micropiles to obtain general knowledge, with the purpose of understanding theoretical knowledge and encouraging their deepening, in the theoretical part of the thesis the micropile is defined, its classification, field of application, design and execution. Peru is part of a seismically active region and there is a need to know the seismic behavior of the micropiles, since these are a good alternative to the classic piles since they can reach areas of difficult access besides being able to drill in any material ( rocks, soft rocks, karstic areas, concrete, etc.) because they are executed with small and light machinery. In the thesis, he gives a summary description of the tool used for the modeling of finite elements Plaxis 2D, being able the interested one in deepening on this topic in the manuals and tutorials that the same program has available. Two important parameters are taken for the micropiles, such as the slenderness and the angle of inclination to know their seismic response in order to know the optimal values of these parameters and improve their seismic behavior, for this we will see the internal forces that are generated in the micropiles that it gives in response to the presence of an earthquake this will be done by modeling it by the finite element method with the help of the 2D Plaxis.
