Biblioteca Pública en San Martín de Porres

Abstract

Actualmente en el país, el servicio de soporte educativo-cultural es el sector más despreocupado por el estado; aunque existe una gran demanda por parte de la población, no se cuenta con la adecuada infraestructura. Lima Norte es habitada por el 25 % de la población de Lima Metropolitana y es San Martin de Porres el distrito con mayor población en Lima norte; sin embargo, la biblioteca municipal del distrito es una sala de 120 m2, lo que impide la difusión de la lectura para la demanda del distrito. En este contexto, con la renovación de la ribera del rio Rímac, se plantea este proyecto en respuesta a la necesidad de la zona, dotándolo de un equipamiento educativo cultural con todos los requerimientos tecnológicos necesarios para lograr el interés del usuario en el aprendizaje. El proyecto está conformado por diversas salas de lectura, proporcionando diversidad; áreas de estar, que serán frecuentadas para la difusión del conocimiento; un auditorio; y aulas para la difusión de la lectura.

Now a days in the country, the educational-cultural support service is the sector most carefree by the state; Even when there is a great demand in the population, there is not an adequate infrastructure. The northern zone of the Metropolis of Lima is habited by 25% of the total population of the city, being the district of San Martin de Porres the biggest population in the area. Eventhough, the district library is a room of 120 m2, which doesn’t allowed the dissemination of reading on demand by the public. In this context, with the recovery of the Rimac river bank, this project is proposed in response to the need in the area, providing it with cultural educational equipment with all the technological requirements necessary to achieve the user's interest in learning. The project consists of diferents reading-rooms, providing diversity; living areas, which will be frequented for the dissemination of knowledge; An auditorium; and classrooms for the dissemination of reading.
