In the local market there is a great migration boom to IP technology of CCTV systems or video surveillance, Plaza Vea supermarkets have a format or standard for the location and installation of IP cameras in their stores, where PTZ mobile cameras they are those of greater benefit because they help enormously in the follow-up of incidents of robbery in open areas; However, these cameras have a very high price compared to fixed cameras and are not effective for installing them in narrow areas. In addition there are aisles of the supermarket that do not have cameras and this is used by thieves to hide the products. For this reason, the main objective of the project is to design a mechanism that allows the mobility of fixed IP cameras; optimizing the budget of an IP CCTV project and improving security by being able to visualize passages that do not have cameras. In the development of this project it was analyzed what kind of network was the best to work in conjunction with the IP network of CCTV, then we searched and designed the appropriate electronics to integrate the components to a small size and in the tests we looked for energy efficiency, then several tests were carried out in the programming obtaining the integration of the electronic equipment designed. Once the electronic part was finished, the way of moving the camera was designed, for which some components were designed and / or manufactured. Once the proper form of displacement was found, it was integrated wlth the electronic part obtaining the design of the camera control mechanism; then a prototype of the mechanism was manufactured with the prototype of its controller. After this, the operability of these prototypes was evaluated in conjunction with devices of a CCTV IP system and finally an economic analysis was carried out to validate the hypothesis, obtaining satisfactory results.
