Seguridad energética en el Perú: evaluación del suministro energético primario

Abstract

La matriz energética nacional depende de hidrocarburos, principalmente petróleo importado, siendo este un factor de riesgo e incertidumbre ante la variabilidad de los precios energéticos en los mercados internacionales. De igual manera, la inserción del gas natural como fuente primaria y las políticas han cambiado la matriz energética en la última década, pero manteniendo un alto componente superior al 80% de participación de hidrocarburos dentro de las fuentes energéticas primarias del Perú. Debido a los continuos cambios y también disruptivos cambios que enfrentan los sistemas energéticos y su impacto en la económica, medio ambiente y sociedad, el estudio de la seguridad del sistema energético y de sus componentes es una labor pendiente en el Perú. En esta investigación se obtiene una herramienta de fácil uso e interpretación que posibilita medir la seguridad del suministro energético primario del Perú. Este recurso técnico permite analizar, medir, seguir y comparar el desempeño nacional en seguridad energética del subsistema de suministro energético; para una mejor toma de decisiones en el Estado, de planificadores, investigadores y organizaciones vinculadas a la problemática energética.

In this research, an easy-to-use and interpretation tool is obtained that makes it possible to measure the security of Peru's primary energy supply. This technical resource allows analyzing, measuring, tracking and comparing the national performance in energy security of the energy supply subsystem; for a better decision making in the State, of planners, researchers and organizations linked to the energy problem.
