This research was conducted in Lima in 2011 and is on the development and implementation of a program based on thermal calculation; to determine the operating parameters of an internal combustion engine for automotive use, by simulating various processes occurring in engines, which allow to establish the expected rate of the operating cycle of an internal combustion engine of gasodiesel type (GLP + D2). The development of the thermal calculation, based on the behavior of the engine working as gasodiesel, is validated and contrasted with the experimental values, through a comparative analysis of the characteristics of the Diesel engine Perkins, obtained in the test Newage and simulated characteristics of the engine; by the computer program AJESA 2004. The aim of this work is to determine the performance of an internal combustion engine Perkins Diesel gasodiesel CV146 (determine the operational parameters of the engine) using a computer program based on thermal calculation without using a traditional dyno , testing them through a comparative analysis of the characteristic curves . Methodologically, this research is descriptive, explanatory and correlational because the properties, characteristics or traits of the situation or phenomenon under study, ie to predict the performance of a STM-Gasodiesel without using a traditional dyno, a program for thermal calculation is done using software AJESA 2004, the behavior of the STM is analyzed and finally the relationship between program implementation thermal calculation and testing of the engine under study is evaluated, ie it comes to evaluating the hypotheses by comparative analysis. The data processing is performed by comparative analysis, first experimental data were processed using the Excel spreadsheet, secondly the AJESA2014 program is applied and the obtaines data is processed in Excel, then the graphs are drawn in Autocad 2013 and the percentage change is determined, finally each sub-hypothesis is tested and this allows us to formulate conclusions.
