Abstract: En esta tesis de investigación se determina la vulnerabilidad sísmica del puente Primavera mediante un índice de vulnerabilidad y el punto de desempeño de la estructura frente a diferentes escenarios de sismo. Para determinar el índice de vulnerabilidad fue necesario realizar una inspección técnica del puente, teniendo como precedente el estudio realizado por Olarte et al. (2015) en conjunto con el Instituto de Investigación de la Facultad de Ingeniería Civil (IIFIC-UNI). Con la necesidad de realizar una evaluación más detallada del puente Primavera se determina el punto de desempeño de la estructura mediante el método de espectro de capacidad. Para ello se elabora un modelo numérico en el software SAP 2000 y se determina la curva de capacidad de la estructura mediante un análisis estático no lineal (pushover), se definen tres tipos de espectro de demanda sísmica y se calcula el punto de desempeño para cada caso. Finalmente, se definen los límites de desempeño y daño de la estructura para poder correlacionar los puntos de desempeño calculados con el daño esperado en el puente Primavera.
In this thesis the seismic vulnerability of the Primavera bridge is determined through a vulnerability index and the performance point of the structure due to different earthquake scenarios. In order to determine the vulnerability index, a technical inspection of the bridge was necessary, taking as a precedent the study carried out by Olarte et al. (2015) jointly with the Research Institute of the Faculty of Civil Engineering (IIFIC-UNI). With the need for a more detailed evaluation of the Primavera bridge, the performance point of the structure is determined using the capacity spectrum method. To do this, a numerical model is elaborated in the SAP 2000 software and the capacity curve of the structure is determined by a non-linear static analysis (pushover), two types of seismic demand spectrum are defined and the performance point is calculated for each case. Finally, the performance and damage limits of the structure are defined in order to correlate the calculated performance points with the expected damage in the Primavera bridge.
