The oil market is studied at national and international level against a complex oil reality whose analysis involves multiple variables in the socio-economic, politician and geopolitical fields which converge to an environment characterized by great instability and risk in all its stages. International prices are consistent with one of the main features of scenario which is a great instability and it insight in the fields mentioned above but also fall into these divergences investments and their correlations for global risk and oil reserves having decision by investors making it difficult quantification of any prospective attempt to explain his behavior in the future. The research aims to cover the problems as to the directionality of the international prices of crude oil and its correlations with investments in crude oil, oil reserves and global risk as the main variables of interest in the investigation and toward which comes committed all the endeavors of the same. Research how committed the use of an econometric model of simple regression involving the variables to a time series from 2000 to 2016. The results indicate the existence of correlations between the above variables that determine that investments in exploration and exploitation of crude oil in Peru mainly suffer from the impact of international prices of crude oil, the global risk and the oil reserves factor.
