Our country is fully focused mining since the higher incomes are made for this item. Within the minerals that our country has in its majority are of polymetallic types. The mineral used in this thesis is a composite of polymetallic ore from different mines in Huaraz-Ancash. The species present in this mineral are chalcopyrite (CuFeS2), galena (PbS), sphalerite (ZnS) with gold and silver content. This thesis is aimed at applying the flotation process considering the following steps: • Bulk flotation. • Flotation Zn. • Differential flotation for recovery of Cu-Pb. Different flotation reagents specific for copper, lead, zinc, gold and silver were used in the experimental development. A degree of grinding was considered between 60-65% - 200m, the results must be the optimal grinding is 60% -200m, obtaining zinc concentrate is performed using two cleaning stages, the Cu-Pb separation was obtained by performing depression Pb (PbS) using a mixture potassium bichromate., CMC (starch and monosodium phosphate) obtained Lead and copper concentrates commercial grade. The results of the mathematical modeling by means of the Split factor approached to the laboratory tests so we can say that this method can be used for industrial simulations.
