In the last 10 years, public and private universities had shown concerned about the improvement of quality education service. The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality of educational services, using the SERVQUAL instrument adapted, in students of FIEECS of the National University of Engeneering. Methods: Expectations and perceptions of evaluated services were used in the questionnaire. 218 students were aleatory surveyed using proportional stratified sample. The instrument was validated with Crombach’s Alpha coefficient. The SERVQUAL dimensions were considered: tangible, responsibility, confidence, security and empathy. In total, 46 questions were used to evaluate student’s satisfaction in relation to: infrastructure, educational staff, administrative staff, library, computer center, academic policies and medical center. To determinate the most important factors on professional formation it was applied multiple regressions. Results: The totality of the evaluated services showed negative gaps results, this is, expectations were higher than perceptions. The most important factors on students training is “educational staff”, followed by academic policies, computer center and self-perception of students. The student satisfaction rate has resulted in 52.30%. Conclusion: As the results in all of the evaluated services were negative, students are dissatisfied with the educational service quality, and, therefore, relevant decisions should be taken to improve those services.
