The main objective of the thesis is to determine the impact of Lean Six Sigma Logistics – LSS Logistics application in improving the productivity of warehousing service in a logistic operator. That impact is disaggregated in the reduction of operating time, quality improvement and reduction of operating costs. Continuous improvement cycle – DMAIC is developed, it comprises the phases: define, measure, analyze, improve and control. Each phase of DMAIC group techniques as Value Stream Mapping – VSM, Pareto chart, Capacity analysis, Muda analysis, Ishikawa diagram, simulation of processes and others. These techniques are applied in the thesis in order to find root causes that deplete productivity and develop proposals for improvement. As a consequence of simulated implementation of LSS Logistics in the warehousing service, a reduction of the operating time is achieved, in the case of picking more than 50% and in the case of accommodation about 30%. This reduction of time directly impacts to productivity, due to the reduction of costs maintaining the same level of quality. In addition, it has been proven that LSS Logistics implementation if profitable for the logistics operator.
