In this thesis presents the methodology to evaluate acceleration response spectrum, through an analysis of dimensional site in specific areas in seven districts in Lima. For this geotechnical profiles are generated, physical parameters and propagation velocities of shear waves was analyzed, stress- strain behavior was estimated, and a synthetic ground motion was generated by spectral matching that represent to the earthquake motion. The site response analysis is basically influenced by the behavior of the material. For a linear behavior the problem is solved the equation of shear wave propagation as a function of the circular frequency, known as frequency domain analysis; nonlinear behavior is solved the equation of motion by direct integration of the finite difference method, known as time domain analysis. These analyzes have been incorporated into computer programs, which are the EERA, NERA and Deepsoil programs that were used in this thesis. For each of these zones were done the response analysis in the frequency domain and time domain, was obtained as result the spectral accelerations upper than to spectral accelerations obtained by the seismoresistant design code (E030-2003), for certain ranges of acceleration period acording on the type of soil profile. In addition it mentions that amplification assessed values are higher than indicate to on design code E030. This methodology allows to obtain representative values of acceleration spectra taking into account the behavior of the medium as linear and nonlinear, which can be used in subsequent works required to evaluate a seismic motion of great magnitude.
