The site Jessica, from Mining Company ARUNTANI SAC, is located in the department of Puno, between 4,500 and 5,200 m above sea level. In Jessica mining operation is developed by open pit operation with the leaching system in the pad and a processing plant named Merrill Crowe Plant. From identifying the center of hydrothermal alteration (hill Quimsachota) and gaps behavior it has made a geological and metallogenic model to define the epithermal mineralization in the pit area Jessica and surroundings. The purpose of this thesis is to optimize the quality control process of mineral production, taking a proper control of laws and mitigating the dilution and demonstrate, with results, the process improvements with reconciliation of Blocks Model and Mining Production so that the effects are beneficial to our goal of compliance with gold production at UM. In the process of Quality Control, the continuous monitoring carried out by the geologist on materials where the mining process is done, is of great importance, because it is required to characterize the materials correctly and timely so that they are sent to the corresponding destinations. The activities of the mine geologist in the production unit Jessica are as follows: vii Sampling of Basthole, logging of detritus, mapping of pit slopes, making ore and waste sites according to the classification of materials, improvement and optimization of the project in the Vulcan Software called “Grade Control“, delimitation in field of ore and waste polygons, the geometallurgical evaluation of mineral led to the leach pad, the implementation of QA/QC programs for proper quality control of mineral, proper handling and interpretation of geological information obtained for optimization of quality control of minerals in the mine Jessica. Monitoring flown undermined the material is constant, as classified according to their economic value. Field function is called “Ore Control“ who monitors compliance with the correct mining of ore and waste polygons avoiding contamination and dilution of polygons and ensuring their proper destination. In the mining process geologist mine makes proper management laws and geological characteristics according to the polygons to get a result as required in the mine plan in order to maintain the life of the mine as planned Planning for the area. Monitoring the mining of blown material is constant, as classified according to its economic value. In field it is called the function of “Ore Control“ which monitors the compliance with the correct mining of ore and waste polygons avoiding contamination and dilution of polygons and ensuring their proper destination. In the mining process, mine geologist makes proper management of grades and geological characteristics according to the polygons to get a result as required in the mining plan in order to maintain the life of the mine as planned by the Planning area.
