Análisis económico de la profundización a corto plazo en la unidad minera Yauliyacu - Glencore zinc

Abstract

El presente trabajo de tesis es un análisis económico acerca de la viabilidad de la profundización en la unidad minera Yauliyacu, el cual involucra una investigación acerca de los costos e inversiones globales que envuelven el desarrollo de la profundización (Nv 4100), con la finalidad de mejorar las leyes que se obtienen y así generar una mayor rentabilidad para la empresa para seguir manteniéndose durante el periodo de crisis que viene afrontando la minería en general. El desarrollo de este trabajo expone las diversas actividades que son necesarias para la profundización. Inicialmente se tiene que determinar por parte del área de geología los blocks a ser minados en esta zona, pertenecientes a la Veta M, entregando como datos el ancho de minado y leyes de recurso; a partir de este punto se involucra el área de Ingeniería, quienes determinarán el proyecto a ser realizado, el cual en este tema será objetivo de análisis y solo se basará en el minado en el corto plazo de esta estructura, debido a que se requiere mayor información geológica que nos indique la continuidad del minado de la veta M. Además determinaremos el beneficio a obtener haciendo un estudio de prefactibilidad de la zona a ser minada, considerando las inversiones realizadas en la rehabilitación y en los diversos tipos de avances, aplicando los conceptos necesarios para determinar el Valor Actual Neto el cual nos dará indicadores económicos que contemplaran la evaluación integral del proyecto de profundización.

The present work of thesis is an economic analysis about the viability of the Deepening in the Mining Unit Yauliyacu, it is involved an investigation costs and global investments who are part of the development from deepening (Nv 4100), with the aim of improving the ore grade that have been obtained and additionally generate a mayor profit for the company to keep it working during the coming crisis period that mining in general is facing. The development of work exposes, the various activities that are necessary to start the deepening work. Initially the geology department determines the blocks to be mined in this area, belonging to Vein M, delivering data as mining width and resource related to grades. From this point the Engineering department is involved, which is in charge of determinating if the Project will be realized, define working and deliver the design, which is in this the objective of analysis and is based upon the mining in the Short Term of this structure due one that requires mayor geological information, whether drills which reveal whether deepening Project in Veta M lasts over time. Furthermore, we will determine the benefit by doing a study from the mined area it will be considering investments in rehab and various types of advances, applying some concepts needed to determine Net Present Value which will reveal the profit of the deepening project.
