Centro Base de Recursos Educativos en el Callao

Abstract

El proyecto “Centro Base de Recursos Educativos en el Callao” forma parte de la propuesta urbana desarrollada durante los ciclos 2012-2, 2013-1 y 2013-2 en el Taller de Tesis A, curso de noveno y décimo ciclo de la carrera de Arquitectura en la facultad de Arquitectura, Urbanismo y Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería. El proyecto arquitectónico se ubica en la intersección de las avenidas Enrique Meiggs (paralela a la avenida Argentina) y la futura proyección de la avenida Santa Rosa en el distrito de Cercado del Callao. La zona de estudio fue determinada debido a la problemática urbana que esta presenta y al futuro potencial que esta adquirirá por futuros proyectos en los alrededores de la zona. La avenida Santa Rosa, perpendicular a la avenida Argentina, es un eje que tomará mayor importancia en la ciudad ya que conectará la Costa Verde con la futura ampliación del Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez; asimismo, el Centro de Lima con el Callao por medio de la avenida Argentina. La zona se caracteriza por la presencia de grandes industrias que abarcan la mayoría de suelo urbano y por ser una zona desolada y peligrosa. La propuesta urbana y arquitectónica tienen como objetivo responder a una necesidad de poder satisfacer el déficit funcional que las instituciones educativas del sector público presentan en el radio de acción en la zona a intervenir, lo cual afecta el desarrollo y aprendizaje de la población estudiantil.

The project “Based Educational Resource Center in Callao” is part of the urban proposal developed during 2012-1, 2012-2 and 2013-1 cycles in the Thesis Workshop A, course of 9th and 10th of cycle´s subject of Architecture in the Department of Architecture, Urban Planning and Arts of the Engineer University State. The architectural project is located between Enrique Meiggs Avenue and the future projection of Santa Rosa Avenue in the district of Cercado del Callao. The study area was determined due to urban problems that it acquired and the potential future that it will have for new projects around the area. The Santa Rosa Avenue is an axis that take greater importance in the city and that will connect the Costa Verde with the future enlargement of the Jorge Chavez International Airport; also, Lima Centre with Callao through Argentina Avenue. The area is characterized for the presence of large industries covering the most of urban land and be a desolate and dangerous area. The urban and architectural proposal aim to respond to a need for satisfy the functional deficit that educational institutions have in the public sector in a range action in the area to intervene, which affects the development and learning of the student population.
