This thesis evaluated the most significant variables that impact in the cost of developing EPC offers, the goal is to optimize and standardize the process, using a methodology that allows formulating plans, programs and projects according to business forms and uses customs of the group of F & V company considering that these variables not only impact the cost of making the offer but the price of the project is necessary to create control mechanisms to bid more efficient by providing competitive value in the process. Economic globalization schemes demand more competitive companies with quick in their responses and optimize their operating costs, to respond these conditions the company should develop ail the functional units of the organization. As the business unit is a sales unit, the company must generate a change with a vision of competitiveness, that's why it has been elaborate a methodology for the preparation of EPC bids, based on information from the last three years, as well as expert opinion. This work has been developed with the method of perspective exploration to get an idea of how through an analysis of the internal (business unit the company will be develop actions to become more competitive and introducing elements of anticipation of situations that may arise to achieve more realistic offers, competitive, efficient and guarantee a satisfaction to client. The methodology involves the following phases: planning, execution, review, analysis, editing and delivery, the recommendations and procedures are a guide to practical use and the effectiveness will depend on the particular requirements of each client; however the use and practice of them wild help to the coordinator to move in a safe way to minimize omissions and resolve any doubt that may arise.
