This research took place in Toe Company Vopak Serlipsa, which consisted of converting an industrial oíl burner N° 6 natural gas in order to reduce the costs of the conversion of the boiler pirotubular with a net capacity of 1961.98 kW. The technical feasibility of the conversion burner was verified by calculating the boiler efficiency, the value obtained is 81.925%, which is within the range of internationally accepted efficiencies for boilers operating on natural gas. Reducing costs of conversion of the boiler is about 30% compared to the conversion of the boiler burner using dedicated and yielding a NPV 201,641.02 and an IRR of 23.1%. Finally, the research shows that the conversion of some boilers 1s possible without replacing the burner as converting from Gasoline engine vehicles.
