In this research the results of modeling and monitoring of the vibrations induced by blasting, are going to be used for comparison with different damage criteria postulated to date, and thus be able to minimize, mitigate and / or avoid damage caused by vibrations induced by blasting of rocks. It is for this reason that it has been decided to carry out this research, which vibrations induced by blasting rocks are monitored in an open cut operation mining, providing the basic theory and practice as well as procedures for recording and analysis data of vibrations obtained from the blasting. The vibration monitoring should be recorded based on the purpose for use of the data, and the factors that must be controlled to ensure the reliability of the recorded data, they should be representative of the blasting that is being analyzed and modeled. what is important is that this technology is to obtain the levels of absolute particle velocity for each of the explosive charges, which are related to the distances its detonation is recorded up in a good database, which allows to build reliable models prediction of vibration, with which can be evaluated at various different modifications of the blasting' parameters such as type and amount of explosive related to distance and assess the potential vibration that can cause damage.
