The present investigation took as a target the evaluation of working Management of Risks in the workpeople and supervisors of the first line (figure) of operation it mines, to contribute (pay) with the continuous progress of the System of safety Management and Health in the Work of the mining companies and hence with costs reduction for accidents that it involves, losses for stops of production, labor interruptions, investigation of accidents and indemnifications. The developed methodology was to establish a theoretical - practical frame treated in safety topics that covered the activities of the process of mined of the organization where they happened the biggest accidents quantity, then to evaluate the level of management of risks in the workpeople and supervisors, one proceeded to determine the sample with the appropriate conglomerate method, the survey was realized in the field with a questionnaire prepared with the questions closed, in a sample representative of workpeople and supervisors of the population of personnel of operation it mines of company and contracts. Workers evaluate the risks and control them in a percentage of 67.5% and 64.2%, respectively, in both a regular level, because there is poor awareness in their development, and with respect to the line supervisors are observed that performance in Risk Management is also a regular level of 52.8%, due to culture in breach of the requirements of the safety standards. Therefore, these results influence the Safety Management System and Occupational Health of the organization.
