Because of the high rate of fatalities due to rock fall in our mining industry it has been pald attention enough to me mining security, thus so cases as me rock fall trap has been difficult over tong time of being predicted. it is at present controlled with the application of rock mechanics. On me desing program, which embraces me geotechnical characterization of the bed, me mine zonification in geotechnical dominions, of particular behavior, the analitical stage for a cautious design by applying me adequate geological, geomechanical and mathematical models, which permit the strategies to modify, the monitoring of both the retrospective analysis and behavior for mis is used computer-based programa so that the rock mechanical analysis applied for it mus as DIPS, UNWEDGE. PHASES. The target of presentad thesis is to reduce the fatal accidents raised because of the unsure conditions as the above mentioned rock fall traps by means a geomechanical study for after implementing an adequate support, it already with anchoring nuts meshes, shotcrete so on.
