This project addresses three common problems in a stainless-steel materials warehouse through the implementation of Lean-oriented warehouse tools. The use of the Kaizen tool aims to improve problems found in the warehouse quality processes, such as reducing quantities of damaged materials to help identify and control factory defects. The application of SLP and Slotting proposes to establish instructions and standards in the lack of space distribution and location of unspecified materials, as well as reducing unproductive times in material location during order preparation. Additionally, the Six Sigma tool aims to reduce errors in order delivery and material storage by using the DMAIC methodology for quick material identification through visual management. Through the application of these tools, it can be confirmed that warehouse performance can always be improved, in addition to reducing reprocessing costs when the studied problems result in customer complaints. It will also optimize merchandise preparation times, ensuring that orders are accurate, and materials are in good condition. It was concluded that the implementation of Lean Warehousing strategies is crucial for managing materials in the workplace and maintaining appropriate environments in warehouse processes.
