Patrón esquelético de Steiner y ángulo de convexidad facial según Arnett en pacientes de 18–30 años en Cañete-2023.

Abstract

Objetivo determinar la relación del patrón esquelético de Steiner y ángulo de convexidad facial según Arnett en pacientes de 18-30 años en Cañete-2023. El método fue descriptivo, correlacional, no experimental, transversal y observacional, se obtuvo una muestra de 131 radiografías cefalométricas digitales. Los resultados indican que el 58,8% son de clase II, el 35,1% son de clase I y el 6,1% son de clase III; y la convexidad facial según Arnett, donde el 47,3% son de clase I, el 45% son de clase II y el 7,6% son de clase III. En conclusión, existe relación del patrón esquelético de Steiner y el ángulo de convexidad facial según Arnett.

Objective: To determine the relationship between the Steiner skeletal pattern and the angle of facial convexity according to Arnett in patients aged 18-30 years in Cañete-2023. The method was descriptive, correlational, non-experimental, transversal and observational, a sample of 131 digital cephalometric radiographs was obtained. The results indicate that 58.8% are class II, 35.1% are class I and 6.1% are class III; and facial convexity according to Arnett, where 47.3% are class I, 45% are class II and 7.6% are class III. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the Steiner skeletal pattern and the angle of facial convexity according to Arnett.
