The main objective of this research study is to determine the factors of non-adherence to treatment of patients with arterial hypertension in the Santa Cruz S.G.R. drugstore in Callao - 2021, being the type of research descriptive and as for the research design, the non-experimental design has been chosen. In a sample of 50 patients, It was used as a technique the survey and as an instrument the questionnaire validated internationally in Cuba in the year 2008 and bearing the name of the author: "M.B.G." Results, it is shown that 20% have total adherence, 70% are partially adherent and 10% are not adherent. It was concluded that the level of adherence to treatment is partial (64%); therefore, the level of adherence in patients with hypertension is insufficient
