The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between genital hygiene and bacterial vaginosis in women treated at the Parcona Health Center, Ica-2021. The methodology, correlational level with quantitative approach and non-experimental design. Questionnaire of 10 questions, sample of 80 women. The results show that 60% perform their genital hygiene daily, 40% perform their hygiene sometimes, 70% perform their genital hygiene incorrectly, 30% perform their genital hygiene correctly. Regarding the products used for genital hygiene, 75% use common soap and 25% use special soap for the intimate area. Concluding that there is a significant relationship between genital hygiene and bacterial vaginosis
