The study aimed to identify the "Clinical characteristics of HIM in 6-year-old children attending the health center" Los Licenciados, Ayacucho- 2019 the research methodology is applied, descriptive cross-sectional, observational, quasi-experimental. A sample of 33 boys and girls aged 6 years was considered in a period from July to December 2019 , who were evaluated by means of data collection forms applied according to . Mathu-Muju and Wright, (2006) as for the results: 28.3% of the revised pieces were found to be healthy and 14.3% were found to be absent. 57.4% of the teeth showed HIM in different degrees, 27.3% were mild, 23.4% were moderate and only 6.7% were severe. The most affected molars were teeth 1.6 with 75.8% of HIM respectively. Conclusions: There is no statistically significant relationship between gender and the presence of IMH in 6 year old children, the characteristic that was found the most was mild severity level
