The Emergency Oral Contraceptive Law, promotes that its use should only be in extreme cases of emergency and that it must be distributed in all health facilities free of charge. Studies on the attitude toward contraception are scarce and most people do not have a good knowledge because of this they make indiscriminate use; this could be due to the fact that the adequate use of this contraceptive is not completely known; For this reason, it is important to carry out studies on the "Attitude towards emergency oral contraceptives in obstetrics and nursing students of the private university of Huancayo Franklin Roosevelt" with the objective of determining the attitude towards emergency oral contraception in obstetrics students and Nursing at the Private University of Huancayo "Franklin Roosevelt". Method: The research was of descriptive level of basic type, with a sample of 172 students of the Professional School of Obstetrics and 157 students of Nursing between the I and VIII Cycle of the Private University of Huancayo "Franklin Roosevelt", selected through a simple random probabilistic sampling; the statistical test IBM Spss Statistics for widows Vers. 24.0 and Microsoft office-Excel 2016. Results: 100% of obstetrics and nursing students are women. The attitude towards the emergency oral contraceptive in Obstetrics students is 75% with unfavorable attitudes and 25% obtained favorable attitudes. In Nursing students 78.3% of them have unfavorable attitudes and 21.7% obtained favorable attitudes. There is no significant difference comparing the attitude toward emergency oral contraception in Obstetrics and Nursing students of the Private University of Huancayo "Franklin Roosevelt". Conclusion: We conclude that in the research on the attitude toward the emergency oral contraceptive, the obstetrics and nursing students had a higher percentage towards an unfavorable attitude, which lets us know that there is no significant difference in the results towards the favorable attitude.
