Sodium dipyrone, which in some countries is called metamizole despite being an effective drug, very popular, remains a controversial drug, which was banned in some 30 countries around the world, including the United States, Japan, Australia, England and Sweden. Fever has long been widely recognized as one of the most common manifestations of the disease. It represents almost 60% of pediatric consultations.
