Posición de las Terceras Molares Mandibulares Según la Clasificación de Pell y Gregory en Radiografías Panorámicas en un Centro Radiológico de Huancayo – Perú 2018

Abstract

Este estudio fue realizado en el Centro Especializado de Radiología Odontológica- CERO, Huancayo Perú, 2018. El objetivo fue determinar la Posición de las Terceras Molares Mandibulares según la Clasificación de Pell y Gregory en nuestra Región; consistió en valorar radiografías panorámicas según la relación de la tercera molar inferior con la rama ascendente de la mandíbula y el segundo molar y la profundidad relativa del tercer molar en él hueso, para lo cual se utilizó una ficha de recolección de datos. Por lo tanto, se aplicó el método científico de la Observación, el tipo de investigación fue retrospectivo, transversal y el nivel fue descriptivo. Según los resultados, la Clase II, posición B, fue la más prevalente con un 37.5% (n= 720), tanto en sexo, grupo etario y lados (D-I).

This study was carried out at the Specialized Center of Dental Radiology - CERO, Huancayo Peru, 2018. The objective was to determine the Position of the Third Molar Mandibular according to the Pell and Gregory Classification in our Region; It consisted of assessing panoramic radiographs according to the relationship of the lower third molar with the ascending limb of the jaw and the second molar and the relative depth of the third molar in the bone, for which a data collection sheet was used. Therefore, the scientific method of Observation was applied, the type of research was retrospective, transversal and the level was descriptive.
