Desgaste dental y bruxismo en niños de 6 a 13 años de un establecimiento de salud categoría I-2, Huancayo 2023.

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo, determinar la relación que existe entre el desgaste dental y el bruxismo en pacientes de 6 a 13 años del servicio de odontología del establecimiento de Salud San Francisco de Categoría I-2, Huancayo – 2023. Como método se utilizó el diseño descriptivo, no experimental y correlacional de corte transversa, la muestra son los 128 infantes de 6 a 13 años que concurran al servicio odontológico de la IPRESS San Francisco. En los resultados se observó que la presencia de desgaste dental obtuvo un resultado de “riesgo bajo” en un 64.8% y la frecuencia de bruxismo en pacientes de 6 a 13 años. El estudio concluyó que existe una relación directa significativa alta entre la relación que existe entre el desgaste dental y el bruxismo.

The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between dental wear and bruxism in patients between 6 and 13 years of age in the dental service of the San Francisco Health Establishment, Category I-2, Huancayo - 2023. The method used was a descriptive, non-experimental and correlational cross-sectional design, the sample consisted of 128 infants between 6 and 13 years of age attending the dental service of the IPRESS San Francisco. In the results it was observed that the presence of dental wear obtained a result of "low risk" in 64.8% and the frequency of bruxism in patients from 6 to 13 years of age. The study concluded that there is a high significant direct relationship between dental wear and bruxism.
