The objective is to evaluate the degree of bacterial contamination in cell phones of Pharmacy and Biochemistry students of the University "Franklin Roosevelt", Huancayo 2022. The method was quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 100 students. Results: 83% were female and 17% male, 68% considered cell phone hygiene very important, 92% used their cell phones frequently, 98% used their cell phones at home, work and studies, 27% used their cell phones for 8-12 hours, negative bacteria were 56.6% and 43.4% positive. In conclusion, the bacterial contamination in cell phones was 67.0%, which represents a high level of contamination.
