Objective. To evaluate the level of knowledge about the benefits of plantain in the treatment of postoperative wounds in patients in the city of Huancayo, 2021. Methods. The design was descriptive observational, cross-sectional. Results. 98% (39) of the patients indicated that the main goodness in the treatment of postoperative wounds is found in the leaves of Llantén, while 3% indicated the root of the plant as a resource for the treatment of postoperative wounds. Conclusion. 45% of the patients surveyed had a high level of knowledge regarding the healing benefits of plantain and 55% had an average level of knowledge.
