Conocimiento sobre Salud Bucal y Hábitos de Higiene Oral en Personal Militar Voluntario de Aviación del Ejército - Perú 2024.

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo, determinar el conocimiento sobre salud bucal y hábitos de higiene oral en personal militar voluntario de aviación del ejército - Perú 2024. El estudio fue enfocado en una investigación cuantitativa, descriptiva, correlacional de corte transversal; La muestra fue conformada por 97 personas. Los resultados muestran que la mayoría tiene un conocimiento medio (88.7%) equivalente a 86 personas, mientras que 11 personas de tropa tienen un conocimiento alto. Se identificó las dimensiones: cepillado, hilo dental, enjuague bucal y visitas al dentista de la variable actitudes para los hábitos de higiene oral. El personal tropa presenta un nivel neutro de alrededor de 54.6% mientras un 44.3% un nivel negativo. En conclusión, existe una relación directa alta y significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal y actitud para los hábitos de higiene oral.

The objective of this research was to determine the knowledge about oral health and oral hygiene habits in volunteer military aviation personnel of the army - Peru 2024. The study was focused on a quantitative, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional research; the sample consisted of 97 people. The results show that most of them have a medium knowledge (88.7%) equivalent to 86 people, while 11 troops have a high knowledge. The following dimensions were identified: brushing, dental floss, mouthwash and visits to the dentist of the variable attitudes towards oral hygiene habits. Troop personnel presented a neutral level of about 54.6% while 44.3% had a negative level. In conclusion, there is a high and significant direct relationship between the level of knowledge about oral health and attitude towards oral hygiene habits.
