Abstract: Se plantea como objetivo general analizar información sobre la utilización del fentanilo en pacientes hospitalizados en la Clínica Chenet. Se utilizó como método un estudio de tipo básico y de nivel descriptivo, retrospectivo y transversal, con una muestra intencionada no probabilística 148 pacientes hospitalizados que recibieron una intervención quirúrgica en la Clínica Chenet. La Escala visual análoga, del dolor severo en el 52%, aplicándose una cantidad de 268 inyectables, ascendiendo a un monto total de 14,070 nuevos soles y precio unitario aproximado de 52.5 nuevos soles. En conclusión, el fentanilo citrato 0,5 mg/10 mL inyectable, fue muy bien utilizado para traumatismos tipo fractura y que contribuye con una Escala Visual análoga del dolor severo, a un costo accesible de 52.5 nuevos soles para adultos entre las edades de 38 a 47 años de preferencia.
