Biotipo facial y forma de los incisivos superiores en pacientes que acuden al Hospital Jesús Nazareno, Ayacucho 2022.

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo de investigación tiene por objetivo determinar la relación entre el biotipo facial y la forma de los incisivos superiores en los pacientes que acuden al Hospital Jesús Nazareno, Ayacucho 2022. El estudio fue de tipo descriptivo, correlacional, transversal, observacional y prospectivo. Se obtuvo como resultados que el biotipo mesofacial fue más prevalente donde el 48,6% de estos tuvo incisivos centrales superiores de forma cuadrada. La forma de los incisivos centrales superiores permanentes más prevalente fue la cuadrada con un 45,2%, el 40,9% tuvo forma ovoide; y el 14,0% tuvo incisivos centrales superiores permanentes de forma triangular. Concluyendo que existe relación entre el biotipo facial y la forma de los incisivos superiores, con una significancia de 0,036.

The following research work aims to determine the relationship between facial biotype and the shape of the upper incisors in patients attending the Hospital Jesús Nazareno, Ayacucho 2022. The study was descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional, observational and prospective. The results showed that the mesofacial biotype was more prevalent with 48.6% of these patients having square-shaped upper central incisors. The most prevalent shape of the permanent upper central incisors was square with 45.2%, 40.9% had ovoid shape; and 14.0% had triangular shaped permanent upper central incisors. It was concluded that there is a relationship between facial biotype and the shape of the upper incisors, with a significance of 0.036.
