The objective of the analysis of the most prevalent radiographic signs in prevention is the damage of the inferior dental nerve observed in panoramic radiographs. The methodology of the type of research was basic, non-experimental. The final sample was composed of 96 panoramic radiographs, corresponding to patients of both sexes within the age range of 15 to 27 years, taken from January 1 to December 31, 2021. The most frequent radiographic sign obtained was root darkening. Conclusion, the most prevalent radiographic sign was the darkening of the root or roots of the lower third molar, the most affected sex according to the distribution was male, the most affected age was 21 years.
