The OBJECTIVE: To determine the predisposing factors of adverse and epidemiological reactions to paracetamol in children under 5 years of age at the Micaela Bastidas 2021 health center. The METHODOLOGY is an analytical method and the research design is pre-experimental and has a descriptive, correlational and transversal level, SAMPLE of 200 children of both sexes and under 5 years of age where the mothers or guardians of the children were surveyed, The RESULTS obtained were that 74% of the mothers or guardians did not know the correct dose in the administration of paracetamol and also another factor is the increase between the frequency and time of administration is short with 41% and the polypharmacy 61% gives 02 medicines a day one of them is ferrous sulfate since the children are with anemia, while 10% of the children are allergic to paracetamol; As CONCLUSIONS if there are adverse reactions such as effects at digestive level with 13% nausea and 12% vomiting, skin disorders 3% dermatitis, and 3% somnolence if there are epidemiological risk factors that in girls adverse effect prevails in proportion of 3% to 1%, it was also determined that if there is a relationship between adverse reactions and epidemiological risk with respect to age and sex
