Conocimiento en fisioterapia oral y pulpitis irreversible en pacientes de 12 a 16 años del centro de salud Sesquicentenario – Callao 2023.

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la asociación entre la competencia en fisioterapia oral y la pulpitis irreversible en pacientes de 12 a 16 años del Centro de Salud Sesquicentenario. La naturaleza de los estudios fue relacional, descriptiva y transversal. La muestra estará compuesta por 70 pacientes. Nuestros resultados muestran que es del 35,7%. presentaron nivel conocimiento bajo en fisioterapia oral; el 41.4% presentan nivel conocimiento medio en fisioterapia oral y el 22,9% presentan un nivel de conocimiento alto en fisioterapia oral. El 44.3% presentaron pulpitis; el 55.7% no presentaron pulpitis. En Conclusión, existe relación entre el conocimiento en fisioterapia oral y pulpitis irreversible en pacientes de 12 a 16 años.

The aim of this study was to determine the association between oral physiotherapy competence and irreversible pulpitis in patients aged 12 to 16 years at the Sesquicentennial Health Center. The nature of the studies was relational, descriptive and cross-sectional. The sample will be composed of 70 patients. Our results show that 35.7% presented low level of knowledge in oral physiotherapy; 41.4% presented medium level of knowledge in oral physiotherapy and 22.9% presented a high level of knowledge in oral physiotherapy. Pulpitis was present in 44.3%; 55.7% did not present pulpitis. In conclusion, there is a relationship between oral physiotherapy knowledge and irreversible pulpitis in patients aged 12 to 16 years.
