The objective of the research is to identify the frequency of the position of the mandibular wisdom teeth in patients from 18 to 30 years old attending the Departmental Hospital of Huancavelica in the year 2023, according to Winter's and Pell and Gregory's classifications. The methodology is basic, non-experimental, cross-sectional, simple descriptive, the sample consisted of 81 patients. The results according to Winter, is mesioangular more prevalent with 42.0%; vertical (30.2%) and horizontal (20. 4%).Pell and Gregory, Class II 58.6% was the most common, Class I, 40.7%, Class III, with only one case (0. 6%).Type A, was of greater concurrence (58.0%), then 38.9% type B, and type C 3.1%. In conclusion, the most prevalent position is Mesioangular, according to Winter's classification, and Class II and type A, according to Pell and Gregory.
