The objective of this thesis is to determine the risk factors that influence the abandonment of contraceptive methods in women of the P.S. I- 2 Taparachi, Juliaca 2022. The method used is a quantitative approach, basic type, non-experimental cross-sectional design, the population consisted of 150 women, the sample was 109 women by non-probabilistic sampling, and the survey was used as a technique. As results, in relation to the institutional factors that influence the abandonment of contraceptive methods in women, 55% have no knowledge of the family planning service. Likewise, regarding sociocultural factors, 33.0% of women disagree that information about contraceptive methods in their District is good. In conclusion, it was determined that the risk factors that influence contraceptive method abandonment are institutional, sociocultural and personal factors.
