The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between depression, anxiety and stress caused by COVID-19 and the work performance of dentists in private practice, Lima, 2023. The type of research was relational, descriptive, cross-sectional. The sample is composed of 86 surgeons. The results show that 16.3% had mild depression; 48.8% had moderate depression, 34.9% - severe depression. 41.9% had high stress; 15.1% believed that their work performance was bad; 64% considered their work performance to be fair and 20.9% presented a good level of work performance. In conclusion, there is a relationship between depression, anxiety and stress by COVID - 19 and work performance in dental surgeons of a private clinic, Lima, 2023.
