The objective of the following research is to determine if there is a significant difference between brushing with the modified Bass and Stillman technique in 6th grade students of the Nuestra Señora de Fátima Chancay school. The research method corresponds to a descriptive level, with a cross-sectional experimental design; the data collection form was the O'Leary index and the SPSS program version 24.0. The results showed 56.72% ± 27.87 in the modified Bass technique and 46.82% ± 21.64 in the Stillman technique. No statistically significant differences were found between both techniques (p=0.123). In conclusion, both techniques are effective for the control of biofilm, with the Stillman technique being the most effective.
