Problemas relacionados al medicamento en pacientes con Diabetes Mellitus adultos mayores del Hospital Regional Docente Clínico Quirúrgico Daniel Alcides Carrión, Huancayo 2023.

Abstract

La investigación tiene por objetivo determinar los problemas relacionados al medicamento (PRM) en pacientes con diabetes mellitus adultos mayores del Hospital Regional Docente Clínico Quirúrgico Daniel Alcides Carrión, Huancayo 2023. El estudio es de tipo deductivo, cuantitativo, descriptivo, observacional, retrospectivo, con una muestra de 108 pacientes. Los resultados referentes al porcentaje de problemas el 73,1% presenta PRM de seguridad, donde el 61,1% presentaron PRM de seguridad potencial. Referente a los subtipos de problemas en relación a la necesidad, efectividad y seguridad el 61,1% presentaron PRM4 donde el 58,3% presentaron PRM4 potencial y el 9,3% presentaron PRM3 real. Referente a la naturaleza el 50,0% por interacción de medicamentos presentaron PRM potenciales. En conclusión, se determinó que el 81,5% de los pacientes presentaron PRM potenciales y el 18,5% presentaron PRM reales.

The objective of the research is to determine drug-related problems (DRP) in patients with diabetes mellitus in older adults at the Hospital Regional Docente Clínico Quirúrgico Daniel Alcides Carrión, Huancayo 2023. The study is deductive, quantitative, descriptive, observational, retrospective, with a sample of 108 patients. The results refer to the percentage of problems, 73.1% presented safety DRP, where 61.1% presented potential safety DRP. Regarding the subtypes of problems in relation to need, effectiveness and safety, 61.1% presented DRP4 where 58.3% presented potential DRP4 and 9.3% presented real DRP3. Regarding the nature of the problem, 50.0% presented potential DRP due to drug interactions. In conclusion, it was determined that 81.5% of the patients presented potential DRP and 18.5% presented real DRP.
