Nivel de conocimiento de la Insulina en pacientes con diabetes Mellitus Tipo II en el Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrion, Huancayo-2023.

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene por objetivo determinar cómo se relaciona el nivel de conocimiento de la insulina con el manejo de la diabetes mellitus tipo II de pacientes insulinorequirientes en el Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrión, Huancayo-2023. El estudio de tipo hipotético deductivo, cuantitativo, no experimental. La muestra la constituyeron 169 pacientes. Los resultados determinaron que del 77,5% de los pacientes que presentan un nivel de conocimiento alto sobre la insulina, el 50,9% refieren estar de acuerdo con el tratamiento farmacológico para la Diabetes Mellitus tipo II. En conclusión, se determinó que existe relación entre el nivel de conocimiento de la insulina con el manejo de la Diabetes Mellitus tipo II en pacientes insulinorequirientes.

The present research aims to determine how the level of knowledge of insulin is related to the management of type II diabetes mellitus in insulin-requiring patients at the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital, Huancayo-2023. The study was a hypothetical deductive, quantitative, non-experimental study. The sample consisted of 169 patients. The results determined that of the 77.5% of the patients with a high level of knowledge about insulin, 50.9% agree with the pharmacological treatment for type II Diabetes Mellitus. In conclusion, it was determined that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of insulin and the management of type II Diabetes Mellitus in insulin-requiring patients.
