Good Storage Practices (BPA), constitute a fundamental element within any institution destined to the handling of pharmaceutical products. OBJECTIVE: Evaluate the Level and Percentage of Compliance with Good Storage Practices in specialized level III Hospitals of MINSA-Huancayo. METHODOLOGY: Basic, descriptive, prospective and cross-sectional type study, carried out at the El Carmen Maternal and Infant Regional Teaching Hospital and the Daniel Alcides Carrión Clinical Surgical Teaching Hospital, using the self-inspection instrument for Good storage practices for inspection. RESULTS: The 2 hospitals meet an average level (65%) for all 9 areas evaluated as an average value in storage, the high level being between 77% and 100% in the warehouse area, reception area, approved area, storage area low and rejected, return or rejection area and the dispatch area; also 50% medium level for the quarantine area and did not meet for the sample areas, counter samples and the packaging area. CONCLUSIONS: Most of the criteria of Good storage practices for pharmaceuticals, medical devices and medical devices were met, however, there are some criteria that must be improved or met.
