The objective of the following research was to determine the depth of polymerization of a unicolor composite resin and a nanofiller resin. The research is applied experimental, cross-sectional, prospective and, according to the level, explanatory. The study group consisted of 45 specimens distributed in 03 subgroups. The results show that the mean depth of polymerization of the unicromatic composite resin and the nanofilled resin was 3.34 and 2.73 respectively, while for the nanohybrid resin of the control group it was 2.42 mm. The conclusion was that there is a greater depth of polymerization in the unicromatic resin in relation to the nanofilled resin, even greater than that of the control nanohybrid resin Tetric N-Ceram.
