Socio-affectivity encompasses the emotional and social aspects that every preschool strengthens by relating to their environment. However, Covid-19 caused a change in various sectors such as the school environment, stopping direct contact between peers to start virtual teaching, reincorporating face-to-face classes at the beginning of the year 2022. For this reason, the objective of this study was to analyze the teaching experiences in relation to the socio-affective development of preschoolers when they return to face-to-face classes. This research objective guided the study through the qualitative approach and the phenomenological method, since it is based on the interpretation and knowledge of the manifestations, in which the sample was non-probabilistic, selecting four teachers from the preschool level. The data collection was obtained through the semi-structured interview, analyzing the responses and discussing them with the support of the reviewed bibliography. At the conclusion, it was obtained as a result that virtuality affected the socio-affective development of preschoolers, since teachers have observed changes in the social and affective behaviors of the students when they return to the classroom after two years without having had any direct contact, seeing the need to resort to group strategies to balance such behaviors and do not harm their students in their socio-affective development.
