The study focused on analyzing the effect of accounts receivable management on the liquidity of Flomar SAC in the years 2018 and 2019. Qualitative and quantitative techniques were combined; 4 workers out of a total of 30 were interviewed for the qualitative study; likewise, in the quantitative study, the financial documentation for the years 2018 and 2019 from the credit and collection area, as well as accounting, was analyzed; documentary analysis was used as a technique. The findings of the study indicate that, despite having established policies for accounts receivable management, the company does not pay adequate attention to them, resulting in non-compliance. This lack of follow-up has led to a decrease in liquidity indicators. For example, acid liquidity went from 1.001 in 2018 to 0.989 in 2019, and the cash ratio decreased from 0.236 to 0.192 in the same period; although delinquency barely changed from 10.037% to 10.036%, it remains a concern. These results reflect difficulties in cash management, which affects the company's ability to meet its short-term commitments and its overall liquidity. In conclusion, delays in the collection of accounts due to the lack of attention to the precepts established by the company result in a loss of liquidity. This has a direct impact on the availability of funds to meet short-term commitments, since there is no adequate follow-up of the collection processes.
